Through sensorial activities with the puzzle maps, children begin to build their knowledge of the worlds geography<\/a> – the Nienhuis Montessori South America puzzle map introduces the geographical structure of the South American continent and can be used as a puzzle, but also the shapes of each country can be touched, traced on paper and coloured in. Another common exercise is to compare the size of each country and to learn about its geographical location on the continent.<\/p>\n

The silk screened puzzle map is entirely made of wood and is laser cut, which ensures accuracy, and a perfect fit of pieces that have to be replaced with those from the spare parts collection. Specially designed knobs on each puzzle piece are positioned on the location of the capitals of the South\u00a0American countries.<\/p>\n
