Introducing many more possibilities for the child to explore and allow for more realistic buildings and structures, the SINA Spielzeug original Gabe 5 from the Friedrich Froebel<\/a> series of wooden playing gifts represents a larger, three inch cube and incorporates more pieces and variety. It divides the cube from Gabe 2<\/a> into\u00a021 cubes (25 x 25 x 25mm), 6 half cubes, 12 quarter cubes and has wholeness as a key point which shows the child the pieces as part of the whole cube and their relationship to the whole.<\/p>\n

To fully understand the whole, the wooden box of Gabe 5 is turned upside down. The box is carefully lifted off, revealing the cube from Gabe 2 now made from half-cubes and quarter-cubes which introduce a triangular shape. This ritual is an important part of play with Gaben 3<\/a> through 6<\/a> as scattering the blocks will not show the divided cube as a whole at first.<\/p>\n
