A beautiful Waldorf inspired natural silk giant playsilk in the variation starry night from the Sarah’s Silks enchanted collection. Measuring approximately 90 x 178 centimetres, the giant playsilk is made from 100% fairly traded silk, hemmed by hand and dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly dye.

The quintessential fabric toy for the world of Waldorf fantasy and imaginative play, a giant playsilk can be used for dress up to make a cape, skirt or wings, folded into a dolls sling, be tied onto a makeshift pole to wave as a flag, draped over chairs to build a tent or fort with, adorn a doll house as a rug or blanket or to play peek-a-boo with. A play space is instantly turned into a magic fairy land for dancing and self-expression with the floaty playsilks. The giant playsilks are large enough to create a private space where childhood magic is protected and can also be used as a billowy canopy over a child’s bed or to build forts with. They encourage open-ended play and encourage physical activities such as yoga, dancing, and sensory play – and so much more!

Sarah’s Silks playsilks are inspiring, magical toys that children will be drawn to play with time and time again! The simplicity and open-ended nature of playsilks tap directly into the child’s creative potential and allows them to express their imagination and support their independence.

The enchanted starry night playsilk is also available in the regular 90 x 90cm and mini 53 x 53cm size in our webshop.
