A beautiful Waldorf<\/a> inspired natural silk limited edition mini May day playsilk from the Sarah’s Silks 2024 collection. Measuring 53 x 53 centimetres, this special edition playsilk is made from 100% heavyweight pure fairly traded mulberry silk, hemmed by hand and dyed with non-toxic, eco-friendly dye. It was made in collaboration with artist Stephanie Green of Wilded Family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Designed to facilitate in-home May day celebrations, to honour the<\/span>\u00a0European festival of ancient origins marking the beginning of summer, usually celebrated on May 1st, this mini playsilk is perfect for small world play and nature tables.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each silk product is woven, dyed and hand hemmed by seamstresses working from their home in a small village near Suzhou, China. They are then hand painted and hand finished at the Sarah’s Silks headquarters in Sonoma County, California, USA.<\/p>\n
