Educo language play facilitates the education of language, meaning to learn the skills of being able to communicate with each other, to react to another person and to cooperate. Children recognize that if they can communicate individually they will stay capable of acting and can become an equal partner in a dialogue. Communication takes part in different experimental environments, in games, structured play and free play. During negotiation processes, children learn to formulate arguments for their own positions. Partaking in the act of negotiation allows them to recognize early on that there is an effect by talking. Moreover, language can become a game by itself by thinking of fantasy words, during role play or while imagining stories together. Children learn to distinguish between their own wishes and needs and to recognize the effect of non-verbal communication through facial expression, body language or sign language.
