Wooden weaving frame – Grapat 2023 Happy Place Collection

The versatile Grapat wooden weaving frame from the 2023 happy place collection is a mindful toy encouraging creativity! The frame can be used to weave, create, recreate, capture, as a message board or for displaying seasonal finds such as leaves, feathers or flowers collected on nature walks.

It is made up of 4 wooden dowels with notches which creates a square frame. The included hemp thread makes up the weaving part of the frame. The weaving frame is easy to assemble and measures 49.5 x 49.5cm when mounted.

A classic and timeless wooden toy, weaving is a mindful activity for children and adults alike, and develops fine motor skills. It is also a favoured resource applied in Waldorf educational settings and homes. The frame lends itself for an unlimited variety of open-ended play, up to the imagination of the child.
