A beautiful educational puzzle from the Norwegian brand Larsen. The Africa maxi puzzle map with animals illustrates the world’s second-largest continent and its 54 countries. This sturdy tray style jigsaw puzzle made from recycled cardboard with extra thick puzzle pieces is suited for younger children interested in early childhood learning about the African continent.

The puzzle features the Sahara desert spread across the map as well as traditional African animals which are featured around the main puzzle frame. The wild animals included in this puzzle are: a zebra, a hippo, elephant, giraffe, lion, camel, baboon, chimp, cheetah, lemur, leopard, crocodile, an eagle, a rhino, wildebeest, an okapi, a Thompson’s gazelle, a sperm whale, a sea turtle, a dolphin and a buffalo in its natural habitat. Since 1953 Norwegian brand Larsen has been producing high-quality tray style jigsaw puzzles made from recycled cardboard. The puzzles have extra thick pieces that do not easily break and are still produced in the Larsen family-owned factory in Flekkefjord, an idyllic town in southern Norway.
