Puzzles

The space activity pack contains 2 x 4-piece space themed wooden puzzles (8 pieces – approx. 4 x 4 cm per piece).

These puzzles help develop visual-spatial reasoning, problem solving skills and strengthen fine motor skills and cognitive processing speed.

Space stamps and cutouts

The space activity pack contains 2 x space stamps with cutouts. The top side of the stamp is engraved with a space-themed picture outline. The underside features a single layered laser-engraved cutout thick enough to create a great impression in playdough, sand or similar material.

The cut-out outline can be used as a craft stencil, developing fine motor skills to manipulate a pencil inside the shape. Perfect for engaging independent play and exploration and sensory play. Which shape leaves the clearest impression? If you apply differ pressure how does the impression alter?

The stamps and cutouts are approximately 8 x 6 cm and are randomly selected from a variety of Space-themed designs.

Space magnets

The space activity pack contains six wooden magnets. These colourful printed discs with realistic images are a versatile learning tool to assist children with discovering and identifying different planets.

Outer space cards

Activity space pack contains two wooden outer space cards.

Ignite your child’s curiosity about all things astronomy with our outer space cards. Each card features stunning coloured images of the Sun, our Moon, and all the planets in our solar system, including Pluto, the planetoid or dwarf planet!

The cards also include simple yet interesting facts to spark discussion about our universe and the cosmic objects we can see in our skies.

Playdough

Fun dough is made in Australia, safe, non-toxic and washable, making it ideal for young children and early model making. 5 Little Bears use only non-toxic, water-based glue and finish their products by hand with their special handmade beeswax polish, ensuring their products are all completely non-toxic and safe for children. They are an innovative Australian brand creating sustainable, educational and sensory wooden products for children. Named after founder, author and product designer Leanne Murner’s 5 sons, 5 Little Bears is dedicated to educating children on Australian wildlife and the need to prevent extinction. These unique and wonderful products follow children’s own interests and are all sustainably handmade in New South Wales, Australia from sustainably sourced Australian and New Zealand timber. Every piece of wood used is slightly different in colour, texture and grain, so there are naturally occurring imperfections seen in the timber (e.g knots, colour changes, etc) which cannot be removed and make the products more sustainable. These pieces of timber are also cut on an engraver and will have slight burnt marks on the edges on some sides, adding to their unique handmade character.
