100 and 1000 bead chains frame – Nienhuis Montessori

This Nienhuis Montessori bead chains frame is used to store and display both the 100 bead chain and 1000 bead chain. The wooden frame with hooks is mounted to the wall.

Part of the Montessori mathematics curriculum material, the bead chains provide the child experience in counting from 1 – 100 / 1-1000, prepares for multiplication and demonstrates in linear form the cube of 1000.
