The Nienhuis Montessori animals of the ocean is an activity set part of the biology as well as geography material range and suitable for children capable of reading.

This set comprises of materials picturing and describing the four animal species from each of the 5 ocean: 20 animal description cards, 20 picture cards, 5 ocean tab cards and a spiral bound control booklet.

The animals of the world set is complementary material to the animal ocean box (sold separately) and is a first introduction to animal species from each of the world’s 5 oceans. Through working with the animal ocean box, and thoughtfully with the continents, the child is inspired to work with the puzzle map of the oceans.

This Montessori material is suitable for children aged 6 years and up.
