The fancy nins set from the Grapat 2023 happy place collection features 12 colourful nins coming from all over the world, waiting for every child to join in their love for fancy dressing up and all things flamboyant!
Did you get the invite? The fancy nins are always ready to put on a show and magically swap their costumes around for that extra touch of cheerful fun.
Hand-stained in the 12 signature Grapat colours of the rainbow, the fancy nins have interchangeable party hats and bodies to bring even more colourful combinations. They help children to navigate themselves through all their learning phases and lend themselves perfectly for stacking, fitting, colour matching and open-ended play. The fancy nins are also a great addition to storytelling and the creation of small worlds.
Made from solid wood, the fancy nins measure approximately 6.5cm, heights vary according to the different hats, and have been painted in pastel colours with non-toxic water-based dyes. The entire set is smooth and pleasant to touch and finished with natural bees wax.
The Grapat fancy nins set is suitable for children aged 36 months and up.

About the Grapat Happy Place Collection
Cities must be a happy place, and not just for adults. Kids have our same rights, cities belong to them too. So what if we changed things up? What if we made every city in the world their happy place too?
Let’s stand up for childhood. Let’s give them a voice that is louder than traffic. Kids, take the city!
About Grapat
Inspired by the Waldorf pedagogy, the Spanish brand Grapat is well-known for their beautiful wooden toys which are open-ended and favour free and autonomous play. The Grapat philosophy is based on providing open-ended toys that encourage, invite and stimulate creation allowing children to invent their own games and imaginary worlds.
All the wooden Grapat toys are hand-crafted in various workshops in Catalunya, Spain, following traditional processes, with wood derived from sustainable forests and painted by hand with water based dyes. The toys are safe for use by small children as they are non-toxic and comply with the European safety regulations of the directive EN / 71-3: 2014 + A1: 2014 / 2013 regarding toy safety. A large part of the Grapat toys collection carries the prestigious Spielgut® seal.
