Wax stick crayons 12 colours – Stockmar

A set of non-toxic high-quality Stockmar Waldorf wax stick crayons in 12 colours including a tin case, a small scraper and 12 wax crayons with a length of 8.3cm and a diameter of 1.2cm that fit comfortably in small hands. The Stockmar wax stick crayons contain pure bees wax as a binding agent and meet the highest educational, aesthetic and artistic demands and promise years of pure drawing and colouring pleasure. The crayons have a pleasant fragrance which appeals to the senses of the child.

Featuring outstanding drawing properties and guaranteed to not crumble, stick or smudge, these non-toxic wax crayons are an integral part of a sound concept for art education for children.

The colour range of the wax crayons follows the extended version of Goethe’s “Theory of colours”: each tone included in the assortment has been adjusted so that it can be mixed well with any of the other colours. Harmonious intermediate gradations and boundary-less colour blending are also possible whether drawing, painting, generously applying, layering, scraping or melting colours. The natural transparency of the wax and the absence of fillers result in a glaze ability, comparable to that of watercolour paint.
