Building set Romanesque – Grimm’s

The Grimm’s Romanesque building set with handmade wooden blocks is a Waldorf inspired creative play set encouraging little master-builders introducing them to architecture! The set is part of the building & rainbow worlds collection and includes a square wooden tray and 62 wooden blocks in various bright colours and whimsical shapes.

These distinctive building shapes contain self-supporting round arcs and create the bulky stonework of great churches, castles, city walls, Gothic buildings and so much more! The colourful wooden blocks in this building set can be used to create and experience worlds of the Middle Ages, inhabited by knights and kings and terrible dragons.

Romanesque complements all other Grimm’s building sets perfectly allowing children to create even more unique variations and play settings by combining forms and shapes.

The Grimm’s Romanesque building set is made from certified wood from trees indigenous to central Europe. The blocks are hand-painted in beautiful bright tones with non-toxic water based colour stain making it safe for use by (small) children. The tray measures 44.5 x 44.5cm, the blocks are approximatively 4cm thick each and vary in size from 2 – 16cm.

This set offers endless possibilities for creative play, making sculptures and refining fine motor skills and is also a beautiful decorative addition to any playroom, classroom or child’s room.
