Hollow letter shapes: US cursive – Nienhuis Montessori

The Nienhuis Montessori hollow letter shapes in US cursive print are language material which prepares the child for writing.

Learning to write includes two different kinds of movement: first children learn to reproduce the form, and, secondly, they learn to handle the instrument of writing. The hollow letter shapes are a perfect preparation to get the movements of writing carried out in a very exact manner and will be a great help for children to develop their writing skills.

The letter shapes can be traced with the included wooden pencils or with the index finger. A wooden box to store the hollow letter shapes in is also sold separately.
