Soft sword red – Sarah’s Silks

A beautiful Waldorf inspired soft sword in the vibrant colour variation red with a golden blade from Sarah’s Silks. The soft sword is made from soft but stiff foam covered with a jacquard pattern silk handle with a golden silk ‘blade’. It measures approximately 43cm and goes well with the Sarah’s Silks knight costumes, crowns, and capes.

The sword is inspired by the play of the Sarah’s Silks founder third son, Morgan, who was a very active child and loved to play with his two older brothers. Sometimes the brothers would play with pretend swords, sparring and running all around the house. She noticed that their best sword fighting pretend play was with soft, long pillows and that gave her the idea to make a super soft sword covered in silk!

Offering escapades into the world of Waldorf fantasy and imaginative play, the soft sword is the perfect fabric toy to turn the child into a knight, prince, princess or anything according to their imagination. The sword is soft and sturdy and will last in your child’s dress-up chest for years to come.
