Wooden crooked tower / Handmade wooden stacking toy – Glückskäfer
A Waldorf inspired 13-piece handmade wooden crooked tower is a versatile stacking toy from the ‘colourful shapes’ range by Glückskäfer. The crooked tower measures 11 x 4 x 32 cm and contains 13 wooden pieces in different shapes and colours.
The wooden crooked tower offers an endless variety of open-ended play possibilities and a sensory rich experience for the child. The tactile wooden blocks can be stacked or nested on top of each other in a challenging combination of different angles to try and build the crooked or wonky structure, but also allow for building other types of structures, buildings or houses. The blocks and shapes of the tower can also be used for schematic positioning play or for colour sorting activities.
Ideal for playing with at home, nursery, Waldorf or Steiner school, the range of Glückskäfer colourful shapes are crafted according to the Waldorf philosophy which is well-known to encourage children to discover creative play independently and without limitations. The colourful wooden pieces of the crooked tower are coloured by hand with non-toxic water-based paints and are not finished with lacquer to ensure the original characteristics of the wood and the grain shows through. The surface of the FSC certified European wood pieces are left slightly rough making them fully stackable and less slippery.
The Glückskäfer wooden crooked tower is suitable for children aged 2 years and up.
