Ness Knight is an adventurer, broadcaster and writer based in the UK. She has completed challenges and expeditions all over the world: paddleboarding 1000 miles, cycling solo across America and traversing the Namib Desert solo. Her BBC adventure programmes are broadcast in over 20 countries. This is her first children’s book.

Qu Lan was born and raised in China and has been living in France after graduation from the China Academy of Art.
