The basic game – SINA Spielzeug

SINA Spielzeug’s the basic game is a Bauhaus-inspired building game featuring handmade sustainable wooden building blocks. Children can have fun exploring the combination of basic shapes and primary colours that made the Bauhaus famous!

The basic game was created to celebrate SINA Spielzeug’s 20th anniversary in an exciting special collaboration between the Bauhaus-archiv gmbh, Fred Voss (the designer of Pyrom) and SINA! It has won the Spielgut® toy award – the “Spielgut®” seal is the only pedagogically oriented design award for toys.

This is a modern and colourful building blocks set to inspire future architects and designers. The 8 piece set consists of traditional basic handmade sustainable solid wooden shapes to combine in different ways.The set’s small size makes it great to take and play anywhere and helps enhance fine motor skills and precision.

Playing with this set enables children to understand the mathematical relationship between these solid shapes and building design for fun, hands-on learning.

Designed by German designer Fred Voss, SINA Spielzeug’s the basic game is sustainably made in Germany from Beech wood. The set includes a lovely mixture of naturally finished blocks and bright, colourful blocks finished in safe, non-toxic, water-painted paint.

The set includes 8 building blocks, each with a basic size of 2.5cm, and instructions in a cardboard box measuring 7.5 x 5.5 x 3cm.

The SINA Spielzeug the basic game is suitable for children aged 4 years and up.
