Montessori my first shape puzzles – Educo

The Montessori set of my first shape wooden baby puzzles from the Educo Montessori toys range for children aged 0-3 years is inspired by the Nienhuis Montessori multiple shape puzzle set.

Depicting three different geometrical shapes, the puzzle set includes three different sizes of circles, a square and an equilateral triangle in the primary colours red, blue and yellow. The 5 different puzzles are interchangeable in the rectangular wooden inlay board.

Each of the puzzles provide the perfect level of challenge for your child. Working through them develops spatial reasoning and ability to discriminate size and shape.

They also stimulate hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills of the young child and lay the foundation of “figure-ground” concepts such as learning about the primary colours.

The Montessori my first shape puzzles are suitable for children aged 11 to 13 months.
