Toddler puzzle: apple – Nienhuis Montessori

This attractive Nienhuis Montessori wooden toddler puzzle depicts an apple. Part of the Montessori infant and toddler range of material, this wooden puzzle with a real photo of an apple stimulates hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills of the young child.

The realistic image makes the puzzle very attractive to work with and the different parts of the apple, such as the skin, leaf or stem, can be taken separately from the puzzle and sorted. By placing the puzzle pieces and completing the image of the apple the child is encouraged to name the various parts to enrich vocabulary.

A large solid wooden knob has been placed in the centre of each puzzle piece facilitating easy grasping by even the littlest hands. The puzzle is entirely made of wood and measures 21 x 21cm.

This puzzle is suitable for children aged 2 years and up.
