Booklet: the coming of humans – Nienhuis Montessori

The Nienhuis Montessori booklet the coming of humans is a great cosmic tale by Maria Montessori about «the story of the coming of human beings».

This booklet is part of the Nienhuis Montessori great cosmic tales series, which tells the story of the birth of the universe, the evolution of life, human development, and achievements such as writing and numbers.

The series also includes the booklet titles: the sun looks upon water, air and rocks, timeline of life, about life on earth, the coming of humans, the story of writing and the story of numbers. (available separately)

Listening to the stories of the booklets provides an engaging way for young primary school children to learn about the world around them while improving their vocabulary and concentration. Each booklet of the great cosmic tale series contains texts that are easy to understand and features realistic pictures used to illustrate the stories supporting the imagination of the child.

The booklets can also serve as curriculum support as an introduction to lessons and studying of objects related to the tale such as with the Nienhuis Montessori black ribbon. The great cosmic tale booklets are also suitable for individual reading by older children.
