Part of the mathematical material range, the spindle box provides practice in associating quantity and symbol for the numbers 0–9.

Working with this material helps the child gain a visual impression of quantity, improve listening skills and develop the concepts of numerical sets, as well as giving the child further practice in associating each number with its real quantity.
