Our products come at a minimum cost to the planet. Sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing of our range of products conserves natural resources and protect our environment. Our ecological toys and learning materials are meant to last generations and enhance quality of life for our children and grandchildren.
Certified
The manufacturing processes and facilities of our brands comply with and are certified by various ISO standards. All our products are CE certified and have a declaration of conformity. Many have been awarded with the Spielgut seal. Environmental and social standards are respected throughout the entire production chain of our brands.
Toy Safety
All our toys and educational products meet the rigorous demands of various European and International toy manufacturing safety regulations and comply with toy safety directives such as the European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC, EN71, American CPSIA, ASTM and International ISO, making them safe for use by (young) children.
Durable and High-Quality
We pride ourselves on offering high-quality durable products which are well made, with respect to our environment and the people making them. Our toys and learning materials are mainly made from wood and meant to be passed on to next generations. They are like the toys we so fondly remember from our own childhood.

Most of our brands offer handmade wooden toys which inspire learning and creative open-ended play. Their simple and organic designs are timeless and engaging. Each piece is made by an experienced crafter ensuring unsurpassed finishing and quality. A wooden handmade toy is unique and enhances the value of its material.
Functional Design
One of our specialties is educational and Montessori materials, emphasizing usable, functional and practical designs. These fundamental elements are not just critical to the use of raw materials; they are the basis for distinctive, traditional methods of manufacture. Our educational materials and wooden toys are classics, not gimmicky, noisy or made from cheap plastic. Dedicated artisans invest a great deal of craftsmanship in creating their shape, colour and character.
Organic
Most of our Waldorf toys, Waldorf school supplies, Montessori inspired toys and creative supplies are organic and made with love in harmony with nature, to reduce environmental pollution and to conserve valuable resources. Our brands take pride in their organic production, combining traditional craftsmanship passed on by many generations with a desire to protect the environment and nature, thus preserving our quality of life.
Toxin-Free
All dyes and paints used for our toys are water-based. They do not contain dangerous toxins such as lead, BPA, PVC, phthalates, cadmium, chlorine and arsenic and comply with European and International safety regulations. All wood finishes used on our handmade wooden toys are either waxes or oils of vegetable origin.
Recycled
Our packaging materials and those of most of our brands are recycled and biodegradable, making it easier for you to recycle them as well. Where possible we reuse packaging materials in which we received shipments from our suppliers. This gives a second life to the boxes and filling materials and saves unnecessary waste.
Ethically Sourced Wood
Suppliers of our brands are influenced to buy FSC certified wood and raw materials as much as possible, promoting environmentally sound and economically robust forestry. Wood is sourced locally; its origin is certified and traced.
