This beautiful handmade sustainable wooden Grapat Waldorf perpetual calendar starter set in German includes 1 natural beechwood bowl, 2 natural beechwood cubes with numbers printed on and a ring platform divided in 4 sections with the names of the months printed on. Each of the sections of the ring represents a season.

The perpetual calendar is a widely used Waldorf method to help maintain rhythm throughout the year and to smooth transitions between the seasons. A treasured family ritual, the perpetual calendar is a physical way in which children can see the progression and changing of time. As it is shaped circular, the perpetual calendar visually represents time as an ongoing cycle.

This starter set can be completed with the Grapat 12 nins® in 12 different colours corresponding with those defined in the Waldorf pedagogy.
