This beautiful garland with wool felt rainbow coloured pompons adds a playful touch to baby nurseries, children’s rooms and play areas. The lovely garland is entirely handmade in Nepal from 100% natural virgin New Zealand wool and is 190cm long. It features 24 delicate wool felt pompons in the colours of the rainbow fixed onto a white-coloured cotton string. Each of the pompons has a diameter of 2.5cm.

The wool is being carded to a soft texture, then gently rubbed and shaped in warm soapy water to bind the fibers together and create a strong felt material. The damp wool is stretched, shaped and finally dried under the hot Nepalese sun.

The addition of embroidery and decorative details by hand by skilled Nepalese artisans is the most detailed and artistic step, bringing designs to life and making each piece unique. This deep respect for craftsmanship ensures that the Gry & Sif products stand out as something special!

The wool used for the Gry & Sif creations comes from New Zealand, where the brand works closely with farmers who follow the guidelines of the New Zealand Animal Welfare Act.
