This delightful set of non-toxic high-quality Stockmar thin and pliable modelling beeswax sheets in 6 colours has a high pedagogical and artistic quality and is an ideal Waldorf art supply for modelling. The pleasant fragrance of the sheets and their perfectly clean handling appeal to the senses of the child.
Made with pure all-natural beeswax as a binding agent in vibrant and luminous colours, the Stockmar modelling beeswax becomes pliable after being warmed in the hands and it will not crumble or dry out. It can be kneaded or cut into different shapes or used in the traditional Waldorf way of wrapping around beeswax or paraffin candles. When used as a candle decoration the wax burns safely when lit with the candle.
The beeswax sheets also stick on many other surfaces such as wood and glass. Figures created with the beeswax will harden and keep its shape but can be warmed and reformed as required. Even after hardening the luminosity and fine shine of the colours remain.
Children achieve experiencing art through all the senses with the modelling beeswax as scent, colour and consistency work together when moulding. The Stockmar modelling beeswax meets the highest educational, aesthetic and artistic demands and promise years of pure crafting pleasure for children and adults alike.
This set includes 6 sheets each measuring approximately 100 x 40 x 6mm in the following colours from the Stockmar range:
00 ivory | 01 carmine red | 04 golden yellow | 07 green | 09 blue | 13 rust.
The Stockmar modelling beeswax is suitable for children aged 3 years and up and has been awarded with the Spielgut® seal.
