Rolf’s layer puzzle life cycle: butterfly is four-layer montessori-style life cycle puzzle to teach children about nature as they play.  It has been carefully designed to meet the development and learning needs of children in a fun way.

Children will follow the Peacock butterfly’s lifecycle process as they complete the four layers of the puzzle. From laying their eggs on the underside of stinging nettle leaves, to lavae hatching and eating the nettles, growing into caterpillars and building a cocoon, to emerging as a butterfly. In completing the puzzle, children will be developing their cognitive, critical thinking and problem solving skills and learning about nature as they play!

Children can also use the free app to bring this educational puzzle to life, learning more about the animal through augmented reality exploration videos and quizzes.

This beautiful and satifying wooden life cycle puzzle comes in a 28 x 28cm wooden frame with a total of 86 pieces. These make up four jigsaw puzzles of varying difficulty, 1 x 9 pieces, 1 x 16 pieces, 1 x 25 pieces and 1 x 36 pieces.
