Mixed forest is a set of Waldorf inspired handmade sustainable wooden forest toy trees from the “Building & Rainbows Worlds” collection by Grimm’s. The mixed forest set contains 5 different types of forest trees made from maple wood painted in beautiful bright tones of green with non-toxic water based colour stain making it safe for use by (small) children.
The Grimm’s rainbow mixed forest trees measure approximately between 7-1cm tall with a diameter of 3-4.5cm and offer endless possibilities for creative play.
The mixed forest trees complement the entire range of Grimm’s toys: they can be tree tops or used as roofs and spires in combination with the Grimm’s building blocks. The mixed forest trees are also suited for use on a Waldorf nature or seasons table.

About Grimm’s
Ideal for playing with at home, nursery, Waldorf or Steiner school, the beautiful natural wooden Grimm’s toys are crafted according to the Waldorf philosophy which is well-known to encourage children to discover creative play independently, without limitations at an unhurried pace. The wooden Grimm’s toys are coloured by hand with non-toxic water-based paints and are not finished with lacquer to ensure the original characteristics of the wood and the grain shows through. The surface of the FSC certified European wood pieces are left slightly rough making them fully stackable and less slippery.
Grimm’s handmade wooden toys are produced at the Grimm’s facilities in Germany as well as at several workshops across Europe from various types of wood such as alder, lime, beech and maple. All wood used to craft the Grimm’s toys are sourced from sustainably managed European forests.
Please note Grimm’s toys are always one of a kind, carrying unique marks made by nature. Wood grain has changing structures and colours which serve as proof of its natural origins. The unique variations, markings, knots, patterns, black stripes or dark spots that may be visible in the wood of a Grimm’s toy are proof of quality, not defects.
