Small rainbow (6 pieces) – Grimm’s

Inspired by the Waldorf Steiner pedagogy, the Grimm’s 6 pieces small rainbow is a handmade sustainable wooden stacking toy with a timeless appeal! It contains 6 pieces cut from a single block of wood by hand. The rainbow is made from lime wood and is painted with non-toxic water based colour stain making it safe for use by (small) children.

This small sized rainbow measures approximately 17cm in length and offers endless possibilities for creative play. The brightly coloured Grimm’s rainbow is also a beautiful addition to any playroom, classroom or child’s room.

The small Grimm’s rainbow can be used by small children to stack, sort and build and as the children get older they will use it as a cradle for their beloved dolls, as a fence for animals, as a tunnel or bridge for vehicles, as a house for dwarfs and dollhouse dolls or to build amazing sculptures with. The small rainbow is also suited for use on a Waldorf nature or seasons table or as an addition to nativity figures for a Christmas scene.

The unique variations, markings, knots, patterns, black stripes or dark spots that may be visible in the wood of a Grimm’s toy are proof of quality, not defects.
