Grimm’s weather building set is a simply stunning playset with handmade sustainable organic shaped wooden building blocks designed to bring the abstract topic of weather to life for children in fun hands-on learning. Featuring 13 beautifully shaped and hand-painted pieces, children can add clouds, suns, thunderstorms, wind and snow to their play and storytelling. The pieces stack together and are also designed to fit perfectly with Grimm’s large rainbows.

The Grimm’s weather building blocks set is made from lime wood and is hand painted with non-toxic water based colour stain, making it safe for use by small children. The pieces measure between 5.4 – 21cm in width and 6 – 13.8cm in height.

This set offers endless possibilities for creative play, telling stories about the weather, making sculptures and refining fine motor skills and is also a gorgeous decorative addition to any playroom, classroom or child’s room.

Grimm’s handmade wooden toys are produced at the Grimm’s facilities in Germany as well as at several workshops across Europe from various types of wood such as alder, lime, beech and maple. All wood used to craft the Grimm’s toys are sourced from sustainably managed European forests.

Please note Grimm’s toys are always one of a kind, carrying unique marks made by nature. Wood grain has changing structures and colours which serve as proof of its natural origins. The unique variations, markings, knots, patterns, black stripes or dark spots that may be visible in the wood of a Grimm’s toy are proof of quality, not defects.
