White DIY playsilks – Sarah’s Silks

A beautiful Waldorf inspired natural DIY playsilk in the colour white from Sarah’s Silks. Measuring either 90 x 90 or 53 x 53 centimetres, the white playsilks are made from 100% fairly traded silk and hemmed by hand.

The white playsilks can be easily dyed with the Sarah’s Silks natural playsilk dye kit, colouring markers but also food colouring, watercolour paint or natural plant dyes which offers an easy, fun, and educational activity to do with children. The quintessential fabric toy for the world of Waldorf fantasy and imaginative play, a Sarah’s Silks playsilk can be used for dress up to make a cape, headband, skirt or wings, folded into a dolls sling, be tied onto a makeshift pole to wave as a flag, draped over chairs to build a tent or fort with, adorn a doll house as a rug or blanket or to play peek-a-boo with.
