Medium movable alphabet: international print red – Nienhuis Montessori

Part of the Montessori language materials, the Nienhuis Montessori red medium movable alphabet in international print comprises of thick plastic letters containing 15 units of each letter. The child starts working with the medium movable alphabet after mastering the letter sounds through working with the sandpaper letters. Even though the child may not be able to write yet, working with the movable alphabet allows him to compose words and develop early-writing and reading skills. The reduced size of the medium movable alphabet allows for building many words, even in a limited space.
