Balls on small pegs – Nienhuis Montessori

The Nienhuis Montessori balls on small pegs is toddler material which comprises of a square wooden board with 4 small pegs that holds 4 balls of two different sizes.

The balls invite the young child to grasp and to discover the differing sizes. Placing the balls on the pegs is another new challenge for the infant. As the pegs seem to ‘disappear’ in the balls, the child experiences that the center hole in the ball disappears too, and the shape becomes whole.

The Nienhuis Montessori balls on small pegs is suitable for children aged 1 year and up.
