The Educo growth puzzle is a large wooden layered puzzle detailing growth or life cycle concept of a frog: from an egg mass to a tadpole, to a tadpole with four legs and finally an adult frog. The four layers of the puzzle contain a total of thirty one puzzle pieces. This imaginative layered puzzle shows the passage of time with the development of the images and each layer depicting a phase of growth is larger and requires more pieces to complete the picture.
Working with the Educo layer puzzles brings awareness to the child about the life cycles of the human being as well as animals and nature. It also develops the child’s fine motor skills, cognition of context and the ability to associate and combine.
The puzzle is part of a series of nine layered growth puzzles, including a chicken, grandfather, tulip, frog, butterfly, bird, sunflower and turtle.
The growth puzzle frog is suitable for children aged 4 years and up.
