Book my collection of collections by Nina Chakrabarti
The book my collection of collections by award-winning British author Nina Chakrabarti is a beautifully illustrated exploration of the many ways in which groups of objects can be collected, categorised and displayed.
What would you like to collect? A collection could be a group of old pots in a museum, or oak leaves picked up on a woodland walk. Some collections are put together over a lifetime, while others last for a single afternoon. You might be a sucrologist, collecting packets of sugar, or perhaps you’d rather collect stamps, matchboxes or even memories.
Nina Chakrabarti, author of the hello nature children’s activity book and the coffee table book my wonderful world of fashion, invites you to explore different kinds of collection in this new, beautifully illustrated book. As you go through the pages you can complete and personalise the collections with beautiful stickers, spaces to write or draw, and even a special envelope for you to start a collection of your very own.
The book my collection of collections is a wonderful children’s book published by Laurence King Publishing and also contains six pages of colourful stickers.
Nina Chakrabarti studied illustration at Central Saint Martin’s College and The Royal College of Art, London. She uses line drawing to explore her love of the decorative arts, inspired by her past in Calcutta, India, where she grew up, and the exuberance of London, where she now lives and works. She is the author of the bestselling my wonderful world of fashion, my even more wonderful world of fashion and hello nature.
