The multi functional and high quality handcrafted fire starter by Australian brand Your Wild Books is as stylish as it is useful and can be used to start a fire for campfires and outdoor cooking in many kinds of weather conditions.
Whether you’re camping in the backyard or the great outdoors, this fire starter is great for family adventures and an indispensable tool for forest craft enthusiasts!
It has a high quality ferro rod, a multi tool striker, a rope lanyard and a handcrafted wooden handle. When the ferro rod and steel striker are struck together, they shed off bits of the ferro rod which to be used to start a fire. The sturdy rubberwood timber handle is carved, with small notches making it easy for kids (and adults) to grip and hold.
With a multi-purpose Mil-spec 550 survival rope lanyard, and a striker which can be used as a bottle opener, concave tinder scraper, ruler, hex wrench and map scale, this nifty tool is a great addition to any outdoor adventurer’s toolbox.
Laser printed with the Your Wild Books logo, the fire starter comes in a drawstring calico bag with swing tag including information and barcode.
! SAFETY WARNING – This tool requires undivided adult supervision. Practice fire safety when using a fire starter. Make sure you are aware of the surroundings of your fire site and take precautions to avoid injury. Never leave a fire unattended.

About Your Wild Books
Your Wild Books, founded by author Brooke Davis in 2019, is an Australian brand that helps children to discover new ideas for outdoor play, and find ways to bring nature indoors! Activities laid out in the Your Wild Books invite children to use their imaginations, think outside the box and to create with natural materials.
Previous to publishing her first book in 2019, Brooke founded and ran the award-winning outdoor nature play program called Wild Imagination. She has published seven books and has plans for many more. She hopes her books will spread the joy of nature play and inspire children to develop an authentic and long-lasting connection with nature.
The Your Wild Books are printed in Australia using vegetable based inks and FSC certified paper that is manufactured locally from responsibly managed forests.
They donate 1% of all sales to charity partners, such as to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, who do important work with regional Aboriginal communities to build literacy and create books in local languages.
