The high-quality and non-toxic Nienhuis Montessori interlocking discs from the infants / babies material range is a set of two small fastened interlocking wooden discs.
After learning to intentionally reach and grasp objects such as the infant bell, infants start examining objects around the age of 6 months by grasping and trough hand-to-hand transfer. Practising those skills with the interlocking discs develops the right and left side of the brain and prepares the infant for hand-eye coordination later on.
The Nienhuis Montessori interlocking discs is suitable for infants aged 6 months and up.
