Interlocking discs – Nienhuis Montessori
The Nienhuis Montessori interlocking discs is a set of two small fastened interlocking wooden discs. After learning to intentionally reach and grasp objects such as the infant bell, infants start examining objects around the age of 6 months by grasping and trough hand-to-hand transfer. Practising those skills develops the right and left side of the brain and prepares the infant for hand-eye coordination later on.
This material is suitable for infants.
