A classic for decades in Danish schools and home settings, the non-toxic high-quality Filia oil crayons offer lightfast and vibrant colours which are transparent and mix very well.

They are similar to oil pastels, but not as soft, and allow for many interesting drawing techniques. The Filia oil crayons are very strong and resist breakage. Each crayon is square-shaped and has a pointed tip allowing for the drawing of outlining, defined contours, two-dimensional drawing and shading. The crayons measure 60×7.5×7.5 mm and have no wrapper so the entire crayon can be used to apply colour.

With a sponge and turpentine, it is possible to “watercolour paint” with these hard, oil crayons.

Filia oil crayons meet the highest educational, aesthetic and artistic demands and promise years of pure drawing pleasure and are an integral part of a sound concept for (Waldorf) art education for children.

The set includes 6 assorted colours with a high luminosity: 51 black | 52 dark brown | 53 dark blue | 56 vermilion | 58 yellow | 62 dark green.
