These beautiful handmade sustainable wooden rainbow frames from Grimm’s are so versatile – the toy trays make perfect little workstations for different activities and boards for sorting objects into colours, categories or displays!

They can be used as sand play or sand picture frames and make a wonderful addition to open-ended building blocks play for adding different levels, floors or ceilings and also make a stunning backdrop to both rainbow and monochrome toys in the Grimm’s collection!

The Grimm’s rainbow frames are made from lime wood and finished in beautiful bright rainbow tones with non-toxic water based colour stain, making them safe for children. There are 6 frames in the set, each in a different vibrant rainbow shade, and each frame measures 22.5cm.

The Grimm’s rainbow frames are suitable for children aged 3 years and up.

Grimm’s handmade wooden toys are produced at the Grimm’s facilities in Germany as well as at several workshops across Europe from various types of wood such as alder, lime, beech and maple. All wood used to craft the Grimm’s toys are sourced from sustainably managed European forests.

Please note Grimm’s toys are always one of a kind, carrying unique marks made by nature. Wood grain has changing structures and colours which serve as proof of its natural origins. The unique variations, markings, knots, patterns, black stripes or dark spots that may be visible in the wood of a Grimm’s toy are proof of quality, not defects.
