Experienced Waldorf teacher and toy maker Walter Kraul shows how to encourage children’s natural enthusiasm for the elements of water and air and how to awaken their interest in nature with simple craft suggestions.
This fantastic resource engages the entire family in outdoor and indoor crafting of devices and constructions, as well as elementary experiences. The workbook includes projects to create:
Water wheels
Scoop wheels
Ships
Water rockets
Balloon

Water and air and the fascination they exert have always been at the centre of play, and the Spielen mit Wasser und Luft crafting projects result in toys made of wood, cardboard or paper. The building instructions provided in the workbook can be realised with relatively little effort, resulting in a functional toy. At the same time, children also learn about the history of the development of technology.
