The set of SINA Spielzeug threading cords in 10 different bright rainbow colours includes 50 high-quality handmade fabric strings used for threading the wooden SINA beads. Each of the cords is 100cm long.

Besides offering a fun way to be creative threading beads is a very beneficial activity for the development of the child. It supports early development of the child and provides transferable skills they can use as they grow. Threading beads offers many benefits such as improvement of fine motor skills: smaller beads are picked up with a pincer grip (thumb and finger) while larger beads usually with a clenched hand. Rotating the bead to thread it further develops fine motor skills.

Playing with beads helps to strengthen the small muscles in the child’s hands as different sized beads are grasped whilst using various hand movements depending on the size of the bead.

Threading beads also improves visual perceptual skills, hand-eye coordination and concentration. It stimulates creativity in imaginative play, enhances planning skills, learning about colour and encourages counting.

The threading cords are suitable for children aged 3 years and up.
