The first version has four circles and the second version is reversible and has four circles on one side, and five circles on the other side. Life cycle sets such from as Safari Ltd can be placed in the circles with arrows showing the next stage in the life cycle process.

The solid oak life cycle tray is finished in natural oil and has a diameter of 27cm, with a thickness of 2 cm. The diameter of each of the circles is 8cm.
