Weaving is a highly tactile experience and a fun, creative Waldorf handwork activity. It is taught in Waldorf Schools worldwide from around the age of 6 and projects can range from beginner to advanced.
The wooden hoop has 75 notches on which to wind wool, creating the warp, and a sewing needle with which to weave your wool to form the weft. Beautiful circular patterns can be produced with this round loom, allowing you to create lovely decorations, wall hangings and table mats.
