Wooden interlacing game – SINA Spielzeug

SINA Spielzeug’s wooden interlacing game is a classic creative design activity in the Froebel pedagogy and classified as a classic playing item.

Friedrich Froebel described the ancient craft of interlacing or weaving as a ‘game with lines’ with many opportunities for learning and creativity. This set includes 120 thin wooden splints in different rainbow colours to create many beautiful two-dimensional designs using the ‘over and under’ weaving technique.

4 coloured cards are included as backgrounds to harmonise with and highlight your endless options of colourful designs. A lovely activity for the whole family to enjoy together!

As well as inspiring creativity and imagination in satisfying pattern design and aesthetics, the wooden interlacing game enhances fine motor skills, dexterity, perseverance and concentration.

The wooden interlacing game is sustainably made in Germany. The bright, colourful wooden sticks measure 25cm long and 1cm wide and are finished in safe, non-toxic, water-based paint.

The SINA Spielzeug wooden interlacing game is suitable for children aged 5 years and up.
