Box with sliding lid – Nienhuis Montessori

The wooden Nienhuis Montessori box with sliding lid is part of the infant and toddler material range and has two compartments and a sliding lid. The child places various objects in one or both compartments and slides the lid to cover or uncover them. Objects are not included.

This material stimulates gross motor skills for toddlers as they practice finger and wrist movement as well as the notion of object permanence. The wooden box precedes the Nienhuis Montessori imbucare box with flip lid.

The Nienhuis Montessori box with sliding lid is suitable for toddlers.
