The Nienhuis Montessori land and water form trays (set 1) are a geography material used for the child to learn the names of the worlds different land forms and water forms. By pouring blue water into each tray a visualisation of where the land and water meet, and how the forms are different becomes apparent.
Working with the Montessori land and water form trays provides a sensorial experience to young learners whilst learning about how land formations are raised and water formations sunken in the earth.
