Working with the Nienhuis Montessori short bead chains: individual beads nylon prepare the child for multiplication by ‘skip-counting’ the bead chains. Part of the Montessori mathematics curriculum, the set also includes a bead square corresponding to the bead chains for each number from 1-10.

We recommend using the additional material printed arrows for use with the short bead chains as well as the short bead chains frame for storing the bead chains.

This Montessori material is suitable for children aged 5 years and up.
