This gorgeous silk garland hairband is hand-painted and silk-screened on 100% real silk in beautiful vibrant blended desert colours using eco-friendly, non-toxic dyes. The hairband has been beautifully dyed to match the Sarah’s Silks skirts, capes, dress up costumes, fairy wings and Playsilks. The silk garland is elasticated, measures 45 x 71cm and stretches to fit all ages to allow children to easily place on their head independently.

The garland headband is the perfect open-ended toy for lots of magical, fantasy and Waldorf-inspired play. It is finished with a handmade satin rose and 4 flowing ribbons.

Care instructions

Hand wash with dish soap or mild shampoo, line dry & use a medium iron to restore shine – please refer to the step-by-step instruction from Sarah’s Silks for washing your (play) silk.

All of Sarah’s Silks silk dress up costumes, toys and playsilks are made from high quality sustainable Chinese silk. Each silk product is woven, dyed and hand hemmed by seamstresses working from their home in a small village near Suzhou, China. They are then hand painted and hand finished in Sonoma County, California, USA.

Children love the vibrant, beautifully blended colours and soft, tactile feel of the playsilks, cotton play cloths and capes. They are made with non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes and natural fibres ranging from 100% real silk to 100% cotton and have passed strict American and European safety testing and are safe for use by children of all ages.
