Sorting lotto seasons: spring/summer – Educo

The Educo seasons: spring/summer sorting lotto is based on the themes of the seasons. The set comprises of a wooden frame, two theme cards and sixteen image cards made of thick plastic. Working with the sorting lotto allows children to discover characteristics of each season, develop a sense of time and to explore the world around them.

The image cards are analysed and sorted to match with one of the two theme cards depicting a spring scene and a summer scene. Each theme card is matched with eight image cards. The sorting lotto is suitable for individual work or can presented in a group setting facilitating exploration of various scenarios and group discussions about what type of characteristic might be found with one theme by comparison with the other.
